Your Past Life Relationships in the Cards

Ever just met someone and get a strong feeling of familiarity, like you somehow ‘know them’ even though you just met? Or how about you meet someone that you have nothing in common with but you just ‘like them’ for some strange, unexplainable reason? These experiences and more usually occur with someone with whom you have past-life connections with.

In the Science of the Cards are two basic kinds of relationship connections. The first kind are those found in the Life Spread and the second from the Spiritual Spread. Life Spread connections tell how you and your partner’s basic energies combine together, whether they are harmonious or stressful. However the Spiritual Spread connections define connections with your partner that are derived from past lives together. I like to call these the ‘earned’ connections because they arise from what occurred before. When you meet someone and you discover that the majority of your connections with them are from the Life Spread, you know that this is a new relationship. You do not have a lot of history. Likewise meeting someone with many Spiritual Spread connections indicates that you could possibly be continuing forward from what occurred in your past lives together.

When you meet someone with whom you have strong, paste-life connections, you sense that you know them already. There is a sense of familiarity. All of the ‘love at first sight’ connections are past-life connections. Certain past-life connections indicate you were married before, or just lovers before. Knowing your past-life love connections can really help explain how you and your partner feel about each other and give a context for those feelings that makes sense. Below I will give a brief description of the ones you could have and what they mean.

Moon

This occurs when two cards are right next to each other in the natural order, such as a 6 of Diamonds and a 7 of Diamonds. This connection means you were married in a past life and the card in the front, usually the one with the higher number, was the husband while the lower number was the wife. When you meet, you will unconsciously fall into those roles, the Moon card being understanding and supportive of the Sun card. This is one of the most common connections found in married couples. This is also one of the ‘love at first sight’ connections.

Venus

This connection means you had known each other in a past life and had been in a significant relationship that was very difficult, but that you had worked on it together and had arrived at a place of deep love for each other. When you meet again in this life, that love is already there and you just like each other, for no apparent reason. You may not have anything in common with them, but you still like, or love them. . This is another of the ‘love at first sight’ connections.

Mars

People with this connection feel magnetically drawn to each other. It originates from a past life in which you were highly attracted to each other, but circumstances prevented you from consummating your relationship. There is an urgency to fulfill this past-life desire. And when you do in this lifetime, the satisfaction derived spans lifetimes and has a mystical quality to it. This connection gives the most pleasure and satisfaction from sex, as it fulfills both the immediate and the past-life yearnings. This connection could be called the ‘passion at first sight’ connection.

Jupiter

This indicates either a spiritual connection from past lives or one in which there was a bountiful exchange of resources. It usually manifests as having very similar philosophical or spiritual points of view that creates harmony between you. It also can manifest as one of you being very giving and prosperous to the other. It doesn’t contribute to a lot of attraction but it does contribute a lot to your compatibility.

Saturn

Unlike the Life Spread Saturn connection, the Spiritual Spread Saturn does not have the usual negative connotations that we associate with Saturn. There is no criticism or limitations placed by one of you on the other. This connection means that one of you was the other’s father in a past life. As such, suggestion made by the one who was father before are well received and helpful. The one receiving the Saturn energy is generally very grateful for the guidance and support offered by the Saturn person.

Uranus

With this connection, the two of you will be able to allow each other to come and go as you please and will not place restrictions on each other’s behavior, choices, actions or words. It allows each of you to fully express yourself without judgment or criticism. You had come to this state from having worked that out in a previous life, possibly by both being part of a spiritual organization that supported freedom in all things.

Neptune

This connection creates a very strong psychic bond between two people. Don’t be surprised if you can read each other’s thoughts or find yourself completing the other’s sentences. It creates a different kind of intimacy that feels very nice, like you have known each other for many lives.

Pluto

With this connection, one of you, the Pluto person, contributed to a large scale transformation of the other in a past life. In this lifetime that theme may continue to some extent but doesn’t have the harshness or destructive aspects that Pluto connections in the Life Spread can have. The Pluto person may play a role in helping the other make important changes in their life, but there is no insistence or forcing of this notion as it could happen with Life Spread Pluto connections. Generally the help the Pluto person offers is helpful and well received.
